Canby, with 10,700 access lines for 8,400 customers in 84 square miles launched MPEG-2 IPTV in October, 2005 on a Tut head-end with Myrio middleware and Amino 110 boxes. It now has nearly 1,197 customers, offers video-on-demand, and is considering the move to MPEG-4 for hi-def delivery.
