Pioneer exceeds the 30,000-line-or-less threshold, with 140,000 members/customers between 76 exchanges in a 10,900-square-mile area in 30 counties. It launched IPTV in July 2004 and is just preparing to shut down its old analog cable operation. Pioneer is notable here for using the Ruckus Wireless WiFi system for in-home wiring.
