As video content security continues to be a key issue for all types of TV service providers, set-top box maker Advanced Digital Broadcast announced that it has worked with content access verification firm Civolution to add the company's video content watermarking technology to ADB digital TV STBs.

Civolution got into the game as a joint venture and spin-off of Phillips Electronics, and the company also acquired watermarking technology last year from Thomson.
