Arris Group in talks to buy VOD player SeaChange

VOD technology specialist SeaChange International, which a year ago shuffled its top management, as profits were hard to come by, is in talks with suitor Arris Group. Talks between the two companies have been going on for several months, the Wall Street Journal reported, saying other companies, including TiVo and buyout firm Permira, also at one point talked to SeaChange but apparently have moved on. SeaChange, with a market cap of $316 million, responded to the WSJ report saying it was "continuing to evaluate a range of strategic options for the Company." See this artice
