U.S. IPTV giant AT&T (NYSE:T) has rolled out an on-screen troubleshooting application to help its U-verse TV customers resolve TV service issues. To use the AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve app, your set-top box and TV screen must be working to some degree, so if you are having problems with image quality, DVR functions or related issues, perhaps there's an app for that.

Like many modern customer self-help tools, the new app's not-so-secret agenda is to help AT&T cut down on customer service calls and service problems that could otherwise require a truck roll. If the app can't help you resolve your problem, it can trigger a call back to you from a U-verse customer service rep within 15 minutes.
