Avail Media runs its IP-Prime wins to 34

Avail Media, the video-focused managed service infrastructure provider that is in the process of merging with TVN Entertainment, said it has picked up more than two dozen additional carier customers of SES Americom's IP-Prime wholesale service, which is near shutting down. Avail Media has collected a total of 34 former IP-Prime customers.

West Kentucky Telephone, a Mayfield, Ky., operator with 2,800 IPTV customers, said in an Avail Media press release that it chose the vendor for the breadth of its linear and on-demand programming. The National Rural Telecommunication Cooperative, a former SES partner that is investing in the Avail Meda-TVN merger, also lauded Avail Media for supporting its member companies.
