Cable guys like Verismo Web video STB

Cable TV industry technologists attending a CableLabs event in Colorado this week heralded Verismo Network's VuNow Internet video set-top box for TVs as most likely to succeed from a field of 10 competing product presentations, according to a Multichannel News story. We were just started to wonder what happened to Verismo after it launched the product last June. STBs and Web video devices have been evolving quickly since then. Verismo is hoping to have service providers or vendors license the technology or incorporate it into other STBs.
