Chequamegon chooses Entone
Northern Wisconsin telephone cooperative Chequamegon Communications (CheqTel) has chosen to deploy Entone's Hydra HD IP video gateway and Amulet HD IPTV receiver top support its IPTV services rollout. A CheqTel executive says in a report at IPTV News that the telco was taken with Entone's feasibility for quick deployment, its support for a no-wires model and other features.
IPTV deployment action among telephone cooperative appears to have picked up in recent months. Earlier this month, Farmers Telephone Cooperative in South Carolina recently had a deployment announcement with ETI and Microsoft.
