Comcast talks up mobile TV

InformationWeek reports that a Comcast executive said in a speech Wednesday that the cable TV giant plans to offer TV programming to mobile devices. Comcast CFO Michael Angelakis made the comments at the Goldman Sachs Communicopia conference.

With TV programming being made available online to cable TV customers, it seems pretty obvious that mobile phone customers with mobile broadband Internet access would be able to get at that programming without too much fuss. Though, it is nice to see Comcast already thinking broadly about how and what devices consumers might use to view the online content.
