TV Everywhere, the cable TV and broadcaster-led online TV venture, has drawn a fair bit of criticism since it was announced earlier this summer. Now, Forbes has published an e-mail Q&A with Internet titan Mark Cuban in which he throws his support behind the venture--though as the co-founder of TV programmer HDNet, which runs on cable TV, satellite TV and telco TV systems, why wouldn't he support it?

In the interview, Cuban also dismisses the notion, raised by Public Knowledge, that the federal government should investigate TV Everywhere. Additionally, he explains why online TV shouldn't be offered for free--the current Hulu model--and offers his prediction for the future of Hulu.
