Farmers working with ETI, Microsoft

Farmers Telephone Cooperative of Kingtree, S.C., which is regarded as one of the largest telephone cooperatives in the U.S., is using vendor ETI's Triad Service Delivery Platform for customer care and billing along with Microsoft's Mediaroom platform in support of its IPTV service. The ETI SDP enables instant activation of IP set-top boxes over Mediaroom, extracts and exports charges for pay-per-view and video-on-demand services, and allows for future support of applications like caller-ID, remote DVR scheduling and pre-paid IPTV services over Mediaroom.
