The FCC has asked Comcast for more information regarding TV Everywhere, InDemand, thePlatform, Internet TV, Fancast Xfinity and a other items, including network management, as it gets ready to restart its countdown clock for approving the merger of Comcast and NBC Universal.

Multichannel News said the MSO was specifically asked if it had held any discussions about whether or not it would provide programming to services like Boxee, Hulu and iTunes.

Boxee and Hulu were at the center of a brouhaha over content access that has been brought up several times during Congressional hearings on the merger and its impact of the competitive landscape. iTunes, of course, is on the edge of everyone's nightmares as a possible source of a pricing model for TV episodes that could cut into programmer and network profits.
