Mariner Partners plans partnership, product news

Canada's Mariner Partners, a consulting, systems integration and software firm that has been in the IPTV market for 10 years, plans to announce at TelcoTV 2008 a new partnership with another major Canadian player in the sector--SaskTel International. The two partners already are working on a project with a Tier 2 telco, according to Curtis Howe, CEO, president and co-founder of Mariner Partners.

Among other news at the show, Mariner also will announce the publication of its IPTV Launch Guide, a new book that codifies much of Mariner's experience in helping carriers roll out IPTV services. In addition, Howe said Mariner will share information from recent research and work in the social media area. The company also will demonstrate a new customer self-service tool that already is a finalist for the TelcoTV Vision Awards.
