TelcoTV: Motorola integrates with Microsoft Mediaroom

It has been more than 11 months since Motorola announced an IPTV storefront to work in the Microsoft Mediaroom software environment. Now, in timing with TelcoTV, Motorola is increasing its presence in Mediaroom with further OSS/BSS integration and additional device management. Motorola also announced that Farmers Telephone Cooperative, an existing Motorola customer, has also become a customer for these new offerings.

Motorola has integrated its Communications Convergence Engine OSS/BSS to work with Mediaroom so that customers using the CCE can manage Mediaroom capabilities. In addition, Motorola extended its remote device management software platform to cover Mediaroom-certified set-top boxes, including the Motorola VIP1200 STB, as well as other home network devices.
