Consulting firm Accenture announced the results of it's second Global Broadcast Consumer Survey at NAB 2009 in Las Vegas. The survey measures TV viewer attitudes, and perhaps surprisingly, it found that interest in viewing content on traditional TV platforms is still growing. Meanwhile, it should come as no surprise whatsoever that viewer interest in alternative platforms continues to grow. Interest in watching TV and other video content on a PC was at 74 percent of those surveyed, while interest in viewing on mobile devices was at 45 percent, both areas experiencing significant growth in interest from last year's survey.
