Netflix remembers name, streams movies online

Just as the Internet TV hype has reached a rolling boil, Netflix has launched an online video streaming service that gives users an hour of streaming video for every dollar they pay a month. Initially, the service will only be available to a small fraction of Netflix's more than 6 million subscribers, but 250,000 will be granted access to the free service every month. Sure, Netflix allows you to request DVDs from the Internet, but really, everyone knew at their launch that they would try to bring their full movie delivery business online someday.
