New Dallas Cowboys stadium an IPTV showcase

The new Dallas Cowboys stadium already has been getting a lot of buzz as the most high-tech-infused stadium ever built (of course, until the next one comes along), and vendor CommScope, which contributed to the network powering the stadium's many TV and video attractions, recently invited telecom industry reporters on a tour of the new facilities. Light Reading was there, and has a report on how the IPTV aspects of the venue might make it one of the biggest single-building IPTV installations in the world. CommScope supplied fiber and copper cable systems for the stadium deployment, working alongside Cisco Systems, Sony and others.
