NRTC/NTCA IPTV package now TelcoVideo

The National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC) and the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA) announced they have improved their wholesale programming offering and re-named it TelcoVideo. Previously called IP-Prime and delivered through SES-Americom, the TelcoVideo package, which comes with the tagline "Powerful Programming. Smart Support," is now being supported by Avail-TVN.

The NRTC earlier this year invested in the merger of Avail Media and TVN Entertainment, a deal that matched Avail's linear broadcast expertise with TVN's video-on-demand experience. That merger came just weeks before SES-Americom was due to shut down IP-Prime, a move that SES first announced late last year.

Multiple service tiers and channel packages are now available via TelcoVideo, and the program also includes marketing support and other business support functions.
