Report: More than 63M IPTV subs by 2010

According to a recent report from iSuppli, worldwide IPTV subscribers will grow by a factor of more than 26, rising to 63 million subscribers in 2010. The estimated IPTV subscribers in 2005 was 2.4 million, meaning the analysts predict a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 92.1 percent. What's more, the IPTV subscriber base will generate more than $27 billion in overall IPTV revenue in 2010. Content licensing revenue will total $11 billion.
