Report: Motorola gaining strength in STB sector

According to a recent study from MRG, IPTV Set-top Box (STB) market growth has been shifting dramatically and Motorola is gathering strength through acquisitions. Little known China-based STB maker Yuxing is also making great strides in its region and could prove to be a threat later on. MRG forecasts the STB market to reach $10.9 billion come 2009. The report breaks down STB suppliers into four regions globally and predicts the relative success or failure of more than 20 STB makers.
