AT&T has rolled out a multiview app for Chicago Cubs fans who are U-verse subscribers that gives them four simultaneous views of games at Wrigley Field and allows them to choose which camera angle to watch.

Chicago Cubs Multiview gives users up to four different camera angles at one time, choosing from the main WGN-TV Chicago game broadcast and six alternate camera angles.

"Only U-verse TV customers have the power to choose how they watch every pitch and home run at the Chicago Cubs home games," said Dan York, president of content, AT&T. "With Chicago Cubs Multiview, fans will get a full-field look at this season's home game action from WGN. It's like you're sitting in the production booth and calling the shots."

Multiview lets users choose which of the seven channels is the main picture, and easily select and record any Chicago Cubs channel from within the app. The alternate camera angles are set up for each home game above home plate, third base, first base and center field.

Mutiview launched last fall, and was followed by My Multiview in June, which lets customers choose and watch up to four of their favorite channels at once on their TV screen. AT&T also offers Sports Multiview, Kids Multiview and News Multiview at no extra cost as part of every package. In October 2009, AT&T trialed a Mavs Multiview in Dallas featuring multiple camera angles for two Dallas Mavericks pre-season games.
