AT&T has joined the effort urging scrutiny of Cablevision's programming practices. The telco  last week filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission that accused the cable TV company of anti-competitive practices related to competitors' access to Cablevision's local high definition programming channel in New York, the Madison Square Garden network. The filing comes several weeks after Verizon Communications logged the same sort of complaint. Telcos have been getting more aggressive recently in challenging cable companies on their unique programming resources.
