New York-based Internet TV distributor Narrowstep secured $10.5 million in equity funding from RENN Capital Group in Dallas in August.

In April, Seoul, South Korea's PandoraTV, closed on $10 million in Series B funding led by DCM (formerly Doll Capital Management) in Silicon Valley. Previous investors who also contributed included Altos Ventures STIC International and Saehan Ventures.

Rinera Networks, an online video distribution startup in San Mateo, Calif., raised $9 million in Series A funding in April from Foundation Capital.

Blip.tv, the two-year-old New York video site "focused on independently produced shows," is worth noting because investors include the four founding engineers of Skype. Their investment firm, Ambient Sound Investments, provided Blip.tv with an undisclosed amount of money in June.
